There are about 200-250 reported and confirmed cases of Legionnaires' disease each year in England and Wales, however it is thought that the total number of cases may be vastly underestimated. About half of the cases are associated with travel abroad. The most often reported and serious cases are in the over 60s and these are the most likely to result in a fatality.
Poor management of water systems can cause serious exposure to the Legionella bacteria resulting in diseases that are fatal. It can also result in prosecution from such government organisation as the Health and Safety Executive. Therefore it is essential you pay close attention to the course.
The course is designed to keep you interested with the use of interaction throughout, and as well as short multiple choice tests after each module, there is a formal examination at the end you will need to pass in order to obtain your certificate
This is a an E-Learning course that in total the course should take around 2 hours to complete..

Testimonials
We have used IE-365 for our asbestos training needs for the last 5 years and have nothing but praise for them. The training is always received very well by all staff, whether management or tradesmen. The training can be tailored to the specific needs of those attending, making the sessions much more beneficial than other generic training. I would highly recommend IE-365 to anyone looking at training in the asbestos sector.
